Reading Assignments and Appointments
Following
is your schedule for the behavioral science rotation and a list of assignments.
Also attached are a course syllabus and the names/numbers of your rotation

Assignments: Behavioral Science Board Review Series entire book. Xerox and complete post-test at end of book. Return book to course master. Brief Mental Health Interventions for the Family Physician Chapters 3, 4, 8, 9 and 24 (dont worry they are all brief). Return book (or copies) to course master. DSM IV Use this in coordination with the readings in Brief Interventions look up the DSM IV criteria for: Depression, Anxiety, and ADHD. Familiarize yourself with how to use this book, and what topics it covers. Manual of Clinical Psychopharmacology Read pp. 31-33, and 67-100. Return book (or copies) to course master. WebCT Cases - For each of the four Web CT cases, come up with 3 multiple-choice questions. There should be 3 incorrect answers. The correct answer should have a reference to support your answer. E-mail completed questions to Lwerner@siumed.edu. The cases are to be completed by the third week of rotation.
