Qualifications or Criteria for Applying:

Must hold a valid RN license/degree
Must be female
Must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Must be enrolled or hold an acceptance in an approved Master's or Doctoral program at SIU-Carbondale
Must be registered for the minimum number of hours to qualify as a graduate assistant unless in last semester of program
Application packets must include an application letter which will include family information and current research and scholarship interests; official transcripts from all undergraduate institutions; a two-page abstract of research topic; three letters of recommendation
