American Medical Association Presents Junaia Carter, M.D., 5k Race

All proceeds to benefit M.E.R.C.Y. Communities, a non-profit organization that provides housing and supportive services to foster the independence fo homeless and at-risk families.

Registration Fees:

$16 if you register online AND are a member of Springfield Road Runners Club or ISMS

$18 if you register online

$18 if you register on race day AND a member of SRRC or ISMS

$20 if you register on race day

Preregister by mail or at the Springfield Running Center during packet pickup

Packet pickup is Friday, April 20, from 4-7p.m.at Springfield Running Center, 2943 W. White Oaks Drive, Ph: 217.787.4400, or on race day

Register also before the race between 7:30-8:30 a.m. on April 21 before the race at the Washington Park shelter, between the playground and the starting line.

Make checks payable to "SIU SCHOOL OF MEDICINE".

AWARDS & PRIZES

Awards to male & female top 3 overall finishers & top age group finishers in 5-year age groups from 20-70, plus 19 & under, and 70 & over

T-shirts guaranteed for all who pre-register.

Door prizes and refreshments after race. Must be present for door prizes.

2 loops around Washington Park totaling 5 km (3.1 mi)

First loop keeps to outside from lake to MacArthur Blvd

Second loop keeps inside park
