COMP PulseThe Comprehensive Weight Management Program is designed for those people with serious weight problems who are looking for a comprehensive program that can be tailored to their specific needs. Our program is not designed for those who have just a few pounds to lose.

An estimated 97 million adults in the United States are overweight or obese. Obesity is a complex multifactoral disease that develops from an interaction of genetic predisposing factors and environment. The degree of obesity is measured by the Body Mass Index (BMI), which describes relative weight for height and correlated with total body fat content.

Overweight refers to an excess of body weight compared to set standards (BMI 25-30). Obesity is defined as BMI greater than 30 and significantly raises the risk of other medical problems as outlined below.

Morbid obesity is typically defined as being 100 pounds or more over ideal body weight or having a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or higher.

If you feel you fit into any of the above categories, then COMP might be for you!
