Brief Bio

Dr. Jacquelyn Quin is an associate professor in the division of cardiothoracic surgery at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. She specializes in adult cardiac surgery.
Dr. Quin received her medical degree from the University of California-San Diego School of Medicine. She completed her general surgery residency at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, Conn., as well as additional training as a cardiothoracic surgery resident and a cardiothoracic surgery transplant fellow at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She was a Winchester Fellow in Research in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Yale University.
Dr. Quin has given numerous presentations and published articles in several publications. She is a member of several medical societies, including the American College of Chest Surgeons and the Association of Academic Surgery.
