The Division of Emergency Medicine, Department of Surgery at SIU was created January 1, 2008 with the purposes of developing an academic presence for emergency medicine within SIU, and to establish a residency program in emergency medicine. Core faculty are being recruited and the residency application (program information form) is being prepared for submission.
