About

Amy Branham is a board certified Advanced Practice Nurse in the Division of Otolaryngology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. John’s College of Nursing in 2001. She obtained her Masters of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 2012 and graduated with honors.

Prior to joining SIU Otolaryngology, Ms. Branham worked as a family nurse practitioner for the Division of Urology and as a registered nurse at SIU in the Division of Otolaryngology and Department of Internal Medicine, Pulmonary. She has a varied nursing background including hospital surgical floor nurse, member of quality improvement team, and patient care coordinator. Her education, work experience, and training allow her to provide comprehensive and compassionate care while utilizing a high level of competency and discernment.

Ms. Branham primarily sees patients with  allergy related symptoms, performs allergy testings (MT and MQT) and the administers the allergy shots in clinics at the St. John’s Pavilion.

Ms. Branham is a member of Illinois Society of Advanced Practice Nursing, Golden Key International Honor Society, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society in Nursing.
