Patricia Lacy has over twenty years of experience working with athletes at the high school, collegiate and elite levels. She has travelled internationally with USA Rugby and served as team provider for the Minnesota Valkyries rugby club for ten years. Additionally, she has worked with Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Gymnastics and Swimming and Diving teams throughout her career. Special interests include biomechanical analysis for the prevention of injury, programs for the prevention of ACL injuries in female athletes, and integration of whole body training to teach proper fundamental body positioning to athletes in their developmental years.
Patricia received her Undergraduate training as an Athletic Trainer at Western Illinois University and graduate training at the University of Iowa. She graduated from the University of New England in 2008 with a degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Before joining SIU, she provided care at The Plymouth Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Clinic in Plymouth, New Hampshire, and served as team provider for Plymouth State University.
Patricia is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants, the Physician Assistant Orthopaedic Society and the National Athletic Training Association.
