Brief Bio

Dr. Anjali Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. She is fellowship trained in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery. Her practice includes the care of general pediatric orthopaedic conditions such as cerebral palsy, Perthes, and Blount’s, with special interests in upper extremity cerebral palsy deformities and pediatric orthopaedic trauma.

Dr. Singh earned her bachelor’s and medical degrees from Louisiana State University (LSU) in Shreveport, Louisiana. During medical school, she received an LSU Honor Award for scholastic achievement, was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, and received awards from the Shreveport Medical Society and Louisiana Orthopaedic Association. She remained at LSU for Orthopaedic Surgery residency and then went to Houston, Texas, for a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.

Prior to joining SIU, Dr. Singh was an Assistant Professor in the Orthopaedic and Pediatric Departments at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York.

Dr. Singh is married to Dr. Thomas Hansen and has a daughter and a son.
