Michael J. Brenner, M.D. Assistant Professor of Surgery, the first fellowship trained facial plastic otolaryngologist in the Springfield area.  He directs the new Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Program in the Division of Otolaryngology at SIU School of Medicine.  His practice focuses on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, head and neck.  mbrenner@siumed.edu

Sandra Lynn Ettema, MD, PhD, CCC/SLP is an Assistant Professor of Surgery, specializes in laryngology which focuses on treating disorders of the larynx and voice.  She also enjoys treating pediatric patients with head and neck issues and patients with head and neck cancer.  Her general otolaryngology practice focuses on treating conditions, including disorders of the thyroid, sleep apnea and sleep disorders, sinusitis, and speech and swallowing disorders.

William E. Greer IV, PA-C is a Physician Assistant in the Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.  He manages patients with problems relates to general otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat disease), including sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, chronic otitis media, enlarged tonsils, dysphagia (difficulty swallowing), hearing loss, tinnitus and vertigo.  He sees patients independently of the physicians and refers surgical candidates to the appropriate SIU surgeon in the practice. wgreer@siumed.edu
