Brief Bio

Dr. Phillip Myers is a professor of clinical otolaryngology for the Division of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery-Head and Neck Surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He is board certified in otolaryngology. His specialty is adult and pediatric general otolaryngology.
Prior to joining SIU, Dr. Myers ’ appointments included surgeon and Director of the Audiology and Speech Center at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Most recently Dr. Myers was in private practice in Springfield for over 25 years.
Dr. Myers completed his otolaryngology residency and fellowship appointment at Northwestern University School of Medicine and his general surgery residency at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Prior to that, he earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago.
Dr. Myers is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Head and Neck Society and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
