Dr. Berry is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery.  Her  practice includes general plastic surgery with special interests in reconstructive, hand, microsurgery, breast reconstruction and burn and wound reconstructive surgery, and body contouring.  Dr. Berry has research interests in nerve regeneration and clinical outcomes research. 

Dr. Berry earned her bachelor’s degree from Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska, and her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.  She received her plastic surgery residency training at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, and completed her hand surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. 

Dr. Berry is the author of several published research papers and presentations, as well as a contributor to two book chapters.  She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Medical Women’s Association, the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Association for Hand Surgery, and the Plastic Surgery Research Council.  Locally, Dr. Berry is involved with both the Illinois State Medical Society and the Sangamon County Medical Society.
