Brief Bio

Samuel A. Grampsas, M.D.  is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Urology at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.  He specializes in general urology including benign prostatic hypertrophy, urinary retention, erectile dysfunction, urgent and frequent urination, and frequent urinary tract infections.

Dr. Grampsas completed his undergraduate work at the University of Colorado in Boulder.  He received his medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, where he also completed his general surgery internship and urology residency.

Dr. Grampsas has been a practicing urologist in the Bloomington/Normal area since 2001.  He is a member of the American Urological Association, Illinois Urological Society, Endourological Society, and the American Association of Clinical Urologists.  He is board certified in Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
