Charles S. Wilson, M.D.
Charles S. Wilson, M.D. is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Urology at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He specializes in general urology including benign prostatic hypertrophy, urinary retention, erectile dysfunction, urgent and frequent urination, and frequent urinary tract infections.
Dr. Wilson completed his undergraduate work at Northwestern University in Chicago and the University of Illinois in Champaign. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois and completed his internship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago and general surgery residency at the University of Tennessee. His urology residency was completed at the University of Utah Medical Center.
Dr. Wilson has been a practicing urologist in the Jacksonville and Springfield areas since 1975. He is a member of the American Urological Association, Illinois Urological Society, the Morgan-Scott County Medical Society and is on the medical staff of Passavant Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, St John’s Hospital and Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, and Culbertson Hospital in Rushville, IL. He is board certified in Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
