Amy Branham is a board certified Advanced Practice Nurse in the Division of Urology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. John’s College in 2001 followed by graduating with honors from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with her Masters of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2012.
Prior to joining Urology as an Advanced Practice Nurse she worked at SIU as a registered nurse for 5 years and Memorial Medical Center for 6 years. Her education, work experience, and training allow her to provide comprehensive and compassionate care while utilizing a high level of competency and discernment.
Ms. Branham practices many aspects of urology but specializes in the treatment of female and male urinary incontinence, female and male pelvic floor disorders including urgency, frequency, and retention (voiding dysfunction), urinary tract infections, kidney stones, InterStim for the bladder and urodynamics. She is also trained to perform the newly approved Posterior Tibial Nerve Stimulation (PTNS) for overactive bladder.
Ms. Branham is a member of Illinois Society of Advanced Practice Nursing, Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates, Golden Key Honor Society, and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society for Nursing.
