Robert B. McLafferty, M.D. is a Professor of Vascular Surgery at SIU. He specializes in treating patients with arterial, venous or lymphatic problems. His clinical practice entails medical therapy for vascular problems, endovascular therapy (minimally invasive procedures with catheters, angioplasty, and stents), and open vascular surgery. He emphasizes a strong focus in patient-centered care and communication. He is nationally renowned for his work and research in vascular surgery. Douglas B. Hood,M.D. Associate Professor of Vascular Surgery, specializes in the treatment of arterial occlusive disease and aneurysms.
