Brief Bio

Dr. Colleen J. Moore is an assistant professor in the Division of Vascular Surgery at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. She specializes in the surgical management of vascular diseases, including cerebrovascular, aortic aneurysms and peripheral vascular disease.
She also has an interest in the minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins and venous disorders.

Dr. Colleen J. Moore completed a two-year fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics in Columbia, Missouri after completing her general surgery residency at the
University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics. She received a combined six-year BA/MD from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Johnson was born in Augusta, Georgia.

Dr. Colleen J. Moore is a member of the American College of Surgeons Associate group, American Medical Association, Society for Vascular Surgery, Association of Women Surgeons, Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery and the American Venous Forum, Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society. She is a certified instructor in advanced trauma life support. She is board certified in general surgery and eligible in vascular surgery.

Her research interests include aortic aneurysms and minimally invasive therapies for vascular diseases.
