Dr. McLafferty earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Boston College in 1986 and his medical degree in 1990 from the University of Vermont. He completed his internship, residency in general surgery and fellowship in vascular surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University in 1998.
Dr. McLafferty is certified by the American Board of Surgery in General and Vascular Surgery. He offers evaluation and treatment in all areas of peripheral vascular diseases. This includes such problems as: peripheral arterial disease; carotid disease; aneurysm disease; vein and lymphatic diseases; chronic wound problems; and dialysis access management.
