The SIU Division of Vascular Surgery is known internationally for its cutting-edge treatment of diseases of the arteries and veins. Our five board-certified vascular surgeons offer both traditional and minimally-invasive treatment of aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, varicose veins, and dialysis access.
We direct our own state-of-the-art noninvasive vascular diagnostic laboratory and perform our own arteriograms and venograms. We participate in a large number of investigational research trials, allowing privileged access to cutting-edge technology not available to most other physicians. We are also leaders in the education of the new generation of vascular surgeons. As professors at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, our faculty participates in the education of medical students, surgery residents, and our own fellows in vascular and endovascular surgery.
We are proud to offer world-class vascular care here in the heart of central Illinois.
