I suggest, as I have done so previously in the help sessions, that you would do well to be familiar with the content and concepts that appear on the PowerPoint animations that are available on this web site. My help sessions focused on these topics, which were the consensus learning issues. Self-assessment questions and answers (SAQs)have been available for your practice.

If you need additional resources, please contact me and I encourage you to read each case's correlated readings in Devlin (Devlin, T. M. (ed.). 2002. Textbook of biochemistry with clinical correlations, 5th ed. John Wiley & Sons, Inc., New York) or appropriate material in Nelson and Cox (Nelson, D. L., and M. M. Cox. (ed.). 2000. Lehninger principles of biochemistry, 3rd ed. Worth, New York).
