As part of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, and the Department of Internal Medicine, the Division of Rheumatology provides comprehensive care to patients with arthritis and other musculoskeletal problems. In addition, we play an integral part in the teaching of students and residents.

Conditions we treat include rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, polymyositis, dermatomyositis, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, osteoporosis and low bone mass, and vasculitis.
