Research Interests: Statistical Assistance / Advice

I have been involved in the statistical and design support of research projects for over three decades having spent a good amount of time in the last ten years in cancer related projects. Having worked with both basic and clinical scientists I have developed a useful translational approach to many of my research interactions. In addition to my personal support of the research project, the investigator will also have access to the resources in the Statistics and Research Informatics Core at the SIU Center for Clinical Research. One example of such resources is that of research and statistical consulting services to basic science and clinical faculty at SIU School of Medicine on both the Springfield and Carbondale campuses. We provide consultation on a wide range of research and statistical issues, including conceptualization of the research problem, experimental design, statistical analysis of data, interpretation and presentation of statistical findings, and write up of research results. In summary, I have a demonstrated record of successful and productive research support and mentoring and my contributions to this project will be of similar high quality.
