About me
Dr. Mundi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. He is a fellowship-trained surgical oncologist and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in the treatment of head & neck cancer, thyroid and parathyroid neoplasms, salivary gland neoplasms and skin cancer of the head & neck. Dr. Mundi has advanced training in transoral robotic surgery (TORS), transoral laser microsurgery (TLM) and microvascular reconstruction utilizing free tissue transfers.
Dr. Mundi received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario receiving the Alumni Gold Medal upon graduation. He attended medical school at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. He completed his otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency at the University of Western Ontario and a fellowship in advanced oncologic and reconstructive head and neck surgery with Dr. Mark Urken in New York City.
Dr. Mundi’s research interests include the utilization of Data Science in the investigation of head & neck cancer.
He is a member of the American Head and Neck Society, American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, and Canadian Society of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Mundi is board-certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.
