Ali Choucair, MD

About

Dr. Choucair is the Director of Neuro-Oncology and Professor in the Department of Neurology. He is a neuro-oncologist who specializes in the treatment of tumors of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves as well as the effects of cancer and its treatment on the nervous system. He is also affiliated with Simmons Cancer Institute at SIU. The Neuro-oncology multidiscipline team is a group of specialized physicians and surgeons, nurses, and staff that are dedicated to the care of patients with neuro-oncological problems.

Dr. Choucair also serves as Director of the Neurology Clerkship program, and as Director of the SIU Neuro-Oncology Tumor Board Conference, a CME-accredited program.
