    About me

    Prior to joining the PA Program faculty, Ms. Johnson worked as a Family Practice Primary Care Clinician for 30 years, the vast majority of that time at a rural Federally Qualified Community Health Center. She has a special interest in healthcare of the underserved, women's health and pediatrics. Ms. Johnson is the course coordinator of the physical exam course; trains and coordinates the Standardized Patient program; facilitates problem-based learning groups; a unit co-coordinator and point-of-care ultrasound instructors. Ms. Johnson previously mentored PA students in clinical rotations at a private pediatrician's office, where she worked part-time.​
