The Policy Division supports ongoing research at The Office of Population Science and Policy (OPSP) and uses the evidence based research to inform and improve local, state, and national policies that effect the health of rural populations.

The Policy Division researches the impact of changes in health law and related impacts in central and southern Illinois. The division continues to collaborate with internal and external partners to identify health and healthcare policy gaps that impact the health of the region.  By creating policy change in response to research, OPSP creates sustainable interventions.

We look forward to working with our regional partners as we develop our policy research agenda.
