The Office of Population Science and Policy (OPSP) is recruiting for a population science research specialist. The primary function of this position is to provide operational support for community based population science research development activities for the Office of Population Science and Policy (OPSP) and its affiliated faculty. This position will assist with obtaining and gathering research data and documentation; organizing and preparing data for research grant proposals, submissions, presentations and publications; assist with research protocol development; and assist with manuscript development. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and a basic understanding of the policies and the guidelines that govern human subject research.
Understanding why certain individuals are healthier than others.
Our current research on baby brain development, children's asthma, and addressing cancer health disparities is providing information and improving health for the people of central and southern Illinois.
