SIU School of Medicine is hosting a book drive to collect new and gently used books for the Enos students to enjoy over the summer. Drop off books suitable for grades K - 5 using the blue Enos bins around campus or at the Office of Marketing and Communication, 801 North Rutledge, Room 2388. Examples include mystery and adventure, magic, sci fi, super heroes, humor, animals/pets, and series.
Join SIU Medicine's Center for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders for a free community event on Tuesday, May 7, presented by Tom Ala, MD, interim chief of the Alzheimer's center, and Mehul Trivedi, PhD, assistant professor of psychiatry at SIU Medicine.

The doctors will also answer audience questions related to risk, prevention and healthy brain aging.
On Wednesday, May 8, SIU is hosting a campus-wide casual day to benefit Camp COCO, the Children's Oncology Camp on Lake Bloomington that SIU Pediatrics runs each summer.
Wear jeans and give generously through your casual day coordinator or send donations directly to Amy Gustafson at MC 9658. Checks should be made out to Camp COCO.
