About me
Nichole J. Mirocha, DO, MHS, is an Associate Professor of Family and Community Medicine at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. For more than 15 years she has taught medical students and residents, and served the patients of the SIU Center for Family Medicine in Springfield.
She is the Associate Residency Program Director, Director of Osteopathic Education, and Director of Recruitment. She’s also the co-founder of the Comprehensive Care Clinic, a medical home for socially and medically complex Family Medicine patients in Springfield. The team-based clinic brings together social workers, pharmacists, nurses, community health workers and medical-legal partners to help patients achieve well-being.
When away from work, you’ll find her with her husband trying to keep up with their two sons, or behind her sewing machine.
Mirocha also specializes in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment.
