Social Media Guidelines

Social media are powerful communications and marketing tools that may have a significant impact on organizational and professional reputations. Because there is not a clear distinction between personal voice and institutional voice, Southern Illinois University School of Medicine (hereinafter “School of Medicine”) has developed guidelines to help clarify how best to enhance and protect personal and professional reputations and promote a harassment--‐free environment while participating in social media.
