    About me

    Primary Responsibilities:

I am an office support specialist in the Department of Population Science & Policy.  My primary responsibility is to provide administrative assistance for the PSP chair, faculty, principal investigators, and staff.

    About:

I joined PSP in 2019. I previously served as an office support specialist in the SIU Medicine Population Health Core Office of the Executive Director for four years, where I assisted staff and students with numerous projects including, hotspotting, travel, training and education and performed general administrative duties. I also worked at the Ronald McDonald House Charities from 1996-1999 as the night and weekend relief manager where I assisted families with children in the NICU and Cancer unit.

I have a special interest in cross-cultural and population health in support of effective policies and improved health care systems. The work of the Department is important to me because our focus is on health and quality for those who live and serve in the 66 counties of central and southern Illinois.
