About
After completing my undergraduate degree in Anthropology at the University of Chicago in 2013, I spent a year working in Memphis, Tennessee as part of AmeriCorps and Teach for America teaching 7th grade reading. Following that experience, I returned to Springfield, Illinois, my hometown, to work as a Dunn Fellow in the Governor’s Office of Management and Budget. I furthered my education in the Master of Public Health program at University of Illinois Springfield, completing my MPH in May 2017, serving as a graduate research assistant in the Survey Research Office at UIS.
