    About me

    Amanda Reaney, MSPAS, PA-C, received a Bachelor’s degree in physiology with a minor in chemistry from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Southern Illinois University Physician Assistant Program.  She practiced clinically for eight years in specialties, such as plastic surgery, gastroenterology, and child and forensic psychiatry prior to joining the School of Medicine SIU PA program as a faculty member.  Her responsibilities include being Phase I Unit Coordinator for Unit 1, course master for the clinical procedures and skills course, as well as facilitating three of the five units.
