About me
Clare Zimmerman, MD, was raised in Springfield, Illinois. She went to undergrad at Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois, and returned to Springfield for medical school at SIU School of Medicine. She then completed a pediatric residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago and then moved to St. Louis for a fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology at Washington University School of Medicine. I am happy to return to Springfield with my husband, Brian, and start my career in caring for pediatric patients with childhood cancer and blood disorders.
