About me
Primary Responsibilities:
Providing operational support (e.g., data collection and organization, map making, creating presentations, and literature reviews) for the Population Science and Policy team and assisting with social media content creation.
About:
I received my bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Illinois at Springfield in 2019. During my time at UIS, I founded the Exercise Science Organization and served as the organization’s first president. Additionally, I served as one of the student representatives for the Exercise is Medicine program for UIS.
After graduating from UIS, I obtained my master’s degree in health communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I discovered my passion for public health, education, and public outreach. I am interested in agricultural systems and food security, nutrition, and physical activity initiatives. Outside of work, I enjoy listening to and playing music, traveling, craft beer, spending time with my partner and our cats, and exploring the outdoors.
