About me
Courtney Ledbetter, DMSc, PA-C, has been a practicing physician assistant since 2001, with experience in psychiatry, family medicine, and urgent care. She has also worked in academia since 2020. Dr. Ledbetter has served patients through the Veterans Administration as well as Federally Qualified Health Centers and Rural Health Centers in southernmost Illinois and western Kentucky.
Her primary faculty responsibilities include PBL facilitation, PA student advisement, Unit 4 coordination, and serving as course master for the Physical Examination and History Taking course series. Dr. Ledbetter has also been a clinical preceptor for the program since 2015.
Her special interests include autism, ADHD, and improving healthcare delivery for rural, underserved, and marginalized communities.
