About me
Enas Shanshen, MD, is a graduate of University of Tripoli (formal AL-Fatah University) in Tripoli, Libya. She completed her first pediatric residency at the Tripoli Medical Center and then moved to the United States to further advance her career. She undertook her internship and residency in Pediatrics at Baystate Medical Center, TUFTS west campus in Springfield Massachusetts, and her cardiology fellowship at Advocate Children’s Hospital, IL. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. She started her career as an assistant professor pediatric cardiologist in 2018. Dr. Shanshen practices at SIU Medicine.
