2023 Rural Mental Health Summit
This event will be an opportunity for dialogue between Illinois agricultural leaders and health professionals to share, learn and develop relationships so we can better serve Illinois rural residents together.
Attendees will join panelists that will share their experiences with mental health support. Panel members will provide insight to rural life, their experiences with managing mental health wellness and the importance of a support system
Group discussion will also focus on factors that influence the stress and mental health of rural farm families and the agriculture industry’s efforts. Other topics will include discussion for agriculture leaders on different professional roles, helplines and best approaches to assist someone in need.
