The Southern Illinois Medical Association (SIMA) is hosting its 151st Annual Conference on Saturday, November 8, at the SIU Center for Family Medicine, 300 West Oak St., in Carbondale.

For the first time, a student research presentation will be part of the conference. More than a dozen SIU medical students have been chosen to present. The top six will have the opportunity to give an oral presentation about their research. The top three will receive a certificate and prize.
