FLU SHOTS

SIU Medicine is offering regular in-office flu shots this year.

All flu shots will require an appointment and are available for SIU Medicine patients only. Please call 217-545-8000 to schedule your appointment or you can request an appointment online. If you do not have an SIU Medicine doctor, we are happy to help you choose the right primary care provider, and get your flu shot, all in one visit.

This year, with COVID-19 symptoms overlapping with a common cold as well as influenza, the best way to fight this COVID-FLU season is to get a flu shot. As you continue to follow public health guidelines to keep yourself safe from the coronavirus, it is important that you know that is possible to be infected with COVID and the flu at the same time. There may not be a vaccine for COVID-19, but you can get a flu shot to give yourself a fighting chance at health this year.
