My primary responsibility is providing research assistance for projects that aim to lower health disparities and improve overall health in rural Illinois populations.
About:
I graduated with a degree in medical anthropology from the University of Alabama. During my undergraduate career, I studied public health in India and developed an interest in understanding the sociocultural determinants of health, especially in rural populations. I am currently enrolled in SIU School of Medicine’s joint MPH/MD program and am in the first year of the MPH program.
