About me
Dr. Shoudel is a Clinical Assistant Professor at SIU School of Medicine. Since 2010, Dr. Shoudel has worked alongside SIU’s orthopedic surgeons providing complete foot and ankle care to the residents of Central and Southern Illinois. Dr. Shoudel’s practice is devoted to the care and management of the adult and adolescent foot and ankle, with a focus on diabetes foot management.
Dr. Shoudel received his podiatric medical degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, where he received his bachelor’s degree in pre-medical studies and chemistry. Dr. Shoudel is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Shoudel is board certified through the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association as well as the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association. He is also an active member in his community and participates in local events, charities and government.
