    About me

    Dr. Kaitlyn Engle grew up in Floyds Knobs, Indiana, and recently moved to Springfield. She is excited to work as a Pediatric Hospitalist at SIU Medicine.

    In her work life, Dr. Engle is passionate about child safety, preventative care and particularly how those relate to the care of children during hospitalization. She is also excited to engage in education for medical students and residents at SIU.

    Dr. Engle loves to spend time with her husband and family. She also enjoys being outdoors and is working on getting back into reading for fun.
