    Dr. Lamya Mubayed is an assistant professor of clinical pediatrics at SIU School of Medicine, specializing in pediatric and fetal cardiology. She earned her pre-medicine certificate of completion and her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medicine in Ar-Rayyyan, Qatar. She completed a pediatric residency at the University of South Alabama Children's and Women's Hospital in Mobile, AL, and both a fellowship in pediatric cardiology and an advanced fellowship in pediatric non-invasive imaging at Rush University Medical Center. She has published articles regarding cardiology and minor head trauma in pediatric patients, and acute pediatric colchicine toxicity. Dr. Mubayed is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology.
