I graduated with a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of New Haven, located in West Haven, Connecticut. I spent several years working in hospital nutrition with hospital in-patients with varied nutritional needs. In 2017, I joined the Peace Corps. Following two-years of service with Peace Corps Albania that focused on sexual and reproductive health education, I was awarded a graduate school Coverdell Fellowship with Western Illinois University.
