    About me

    Dr. Mena Metias practices full spectrum Family Medicine. He cares for patients of all ages in the clinic and hospital settings; managing acute and chronic conditions, providing preventative care, and conducting in-office procedures. He has an added clinical focus in women’s health and maternity care. He will be providing prenatal and postnatal care, manage obstetric deliveries at Alton Memorial Hospital, as well as newborn care.

    After graduating from medical school, Dr. Metias completed his Family Medicine residency training at Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. 

    He is involved through Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation (SIHF) in partnership with SIU School of Medicine and is currently core residency faculty in the SIU Alton Family Medicine Residency Program.

    His primary office is located in Suite 210 of Medical Office Building B on the Alton Memorial Hospital campus.
