- Part of the Multidisciplinary Biomedical and Biological Sciences (MBBS) Graduate Program.
- Research-intensive program leading to Master of Science (MS) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
- The goal of our program is to train highly motivated students for careers in teaching and research in universities, industry and government
- Cutting-edge research and advanced training in tumor immunology, cancer biology and targeting, stem cell biology and lineage differentiation, vascular biology, reproductive immunology, genome biology and mechanisms controlling gene expression.
- Faculty laboratories occupy new and renovated laboratory space and their research is supported by Core Molecular, Imaging and Flow Cytometry Research facilities and a centralized tissue bank.

Admissions
- Applicants should apply to the MBBS Graduate Program
- Entry through Interdisciplinary Rotations-Springfield or Direct Entry to Cell Biology, Immunology & Cancer Biology
- Students applying to Interdisciplinary Rotations-Springfield can select laboratory rotations in 1) Cell Biology, Immunology & Cancer Biology OR 2) Pharmacology & Neuroscience
- Preference for admissions is given to students entering the PhD track
Financial Aid
- The Concentration in Cell Biology, Immunology & Cancer Biology offers research assistantships with a tuition waiver to qualified applicants accepted into the Concentration
- Financial assistance depends on availability, the student’s qualifications and academic status.
