Free skin cancer screenings available in Decatur on Aug. 26

DECATUR – 

SIU Dermatology and Memorial Cancer Care in Decatur are partnering to offer a free community skin cancer screening in August. 

The screenings will be held 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, August 26, at Memorial Cancer Care, 210 W. McKinley Ave., Decatur.

The SIU Medicine dermatology team will conduct open screenings for residents of Macon, Sangamon, Shelby, Piatt, Christian, Moultrie, DeWitt and Logan counties. Preregistration and a short consent form are required to participate.

Participants should not currently be under the care of a dermatologist. To preregister, call 217-876-4749.
