Olejnik earns distinction to move women's health care forward

Published Date:

Jeffrey Olejnik, MD, has successfully earned The Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) designation. This prestigious certification reflects a commitment to providing exceptional care to women during the menopause transition and beyond. Only four providers within a 50-mile radius of Springfield hold this distinction.

Those who attain the MSCP certification are health care professionals, including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, nurses and pharmacists who have demonstrated a specialized interest in and competency within the menopause field. This certification equips practitioners with the latest evidence-based strategies and treatments to address the complex needs of women going through menopause, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.

"Earning this certification allows me to provide even more specialized care to women navigating menopause," said Olejnik. "My goal is to help my patients feel empowered and supported during this significant phase of life, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care based on the latest research and best practices."

For many women, menopause can be a challenging and confusing time, often accompanied by physical and emotional changes that impact their daily lives. Having a certified practitioner ensures that patients receive expert guidance tailored to their specific needs, from hormone management to addressing symptoms such as hot flashes, mood swings and sleep disturbances. A MSCP-certified provider offers care backed by the latest research and practices in menopause management.
