SIU Medicine expands commitment to Decatur with new multispecialty clinic
SIU Medicine is deepening its investment in the health and well-being of the Decatur community with the opening of a new multispecialty clinic at Physicians Plaza West, 2 Memorial Drive.
Beginning in late October, several SIU Medicine departments will relocate within or to the new facility, including Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Pediatrics. Pediatrics, which has served patients from Physicians Plaza West for the past two years, will transition to a newly designed floor within the building. All moves are expected to be completed by October 27.
The new clinic will offer convenient access to comprehensive, team-based care in a modern, patient-centered environment. By bringing multiple specialties together under one roof, SIU Medicine aims to enhance coordination, improve patient experience and expand access to high-quality care for Decatur-area residents.
SIU Medicine’s Otolaryngology - Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Care Clinic and Family Medicine departments will continue to serve patients from their current Decatur location at 102 W. Kenwood Ave., a three-minute drive from Plaza West. Additional surgical specialties will be relocating to the new Plaza West facility in spring 2026, including Vascular Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Urology.
This move underscores SIU Medicine’s ongoing commitment to advancing health and access across central Illinois through innovative, community-based care.
